A 70,000 sq.ft. major expansion to an existing 300,000 sq.ft. meat processing facility to produce bacon for the Canadian and US market. The facility employs the latest methods and technologies to derive world class levels of manufacturing efficiency. Our involvement commenced with process layout assistance that resulted in an approximate 15% gain in efficiency. The facility comprises the full production sequence of spaces from brine injection, massaging-tumbling, smoke houses, blast chillers, stabilization coolers, slicing, packaging and warehousing.
